Subscribers currently get a blue verified checkmark on their profile and early access to new features. Twitter Blue is currently only available in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. After Twitter CEO Elon Musk said last fall that the company was facing a massive drop in ad revenue, Twitter now aims to make 50% of its money from subscriptions.
